Laura Lee Galloway (nee Byars) died in Corinth Rehab Hospital on November 21, 2015 at 2:30am due to congestive heart failure. She was 70 years old. Laura was born in Calexico, CA on June 28, 1945 to Ruby and Eli Byars. Her father, Eli was a Marine Sergeant stationed in San Diego, CA. Before she was a year old, Laura and her family moved to Brownwood, TX where she lived through her elementary school years. They then moved to Early, TX where she graduated from Early High School in 1963. On January 28, 1966, Laura married Bryan R. Galloway in Brownwood, TX. Laura is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, her two children, Paul Galloway of Houston, TX and Ruby Henline of Sanger, TX, 10 grandchildren, and her two brothers, Terry Byars of Zephyr, TX and Jim Byars, of Brownwood, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to a charity of your choice. Local arrangements are under the direction of Coker Funeral Home in Sanger. Services in Early, TX are under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.
