Funeral services for Lillian Marguerite Yarbrough, 75, of Lake Brownwood, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2007, in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David McCamey officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home of Early. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2007, at the funeral Home. Mrs. Yarbrough passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2007, at Lake Brownwood. Lillian Marguerite was born on Jan. 23, 1932, in Loraine, Texas, the daughter of Autis and Gertrude Collier Peterson. On May 22, 1948, she married Arthur Yarbrough. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Yarbrough was a homemaker and a member of the Primitive Baptist Church of Cross Plains as well as a member of the FCE Club. She had been a resident of Lake Brownwood since 1985, moving here from Andrews. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Jerry and Jeanie Yarbrough of Fort Davis, Texas, Patsy and Jim Waid of Lake Travis in Austin and Nancy Yarbrough of Lake Brownwood; a sister, Doris McMillan of San Antonio; and a brother; Robert Alan Peterson of Midland. Nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren also survive her. Her parents, Autis and Gertrude Peterson; her husband, Arthur Yarbrough; grandson, Jay Bullock; and brother, Lamar Peterson, preceded her in death.
