Eddie Musick was born on July 8, 1958 to A.J. Musick and Helen Kirk in Odessa, Texas. He graduated from Early, Texas in 1976 and was married to Janice Box on December 23, 1979. He owned his own dirt work construction company and did work for many people in the surrounding area. He was known by friends and family as a hard-worker, strong-willed and most of all big-hearted. Family was everything to him and he was never too busy to help someone in need. He loved six-man football and lately had truly enjoyed getting to watch his nephews, Charlie and Wesley, play for Blanket. He also enjoyed the outdoors, including hunting and fishing, long road trips with historical meaning and playing dominos with his family. He is survived by his wife, Janice; two sons and their wives, Joedy and Staci Musick, and Cody and Connie Musick. Also, survived by nephew, Brian Box and niece, Heather Hallum, that were like children to Eddie. His parents still reside in Blanket, Texas, as well as his brother and wife, Joe and Sabrina Musick. He has three grandchildren, Mason, Kylie and Nolan. His brother-in-law, Randall Box and sister-in-law, Terrie and husband Jessie Hurst and their children, Robbie and Ryan, have been a big part of his life. He leaves behind many other loving family members. He is preceded in death by his brother, Ricky David Musick.
