WATAUGA -- Mayme “Rossy” Hood, 91, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went to be with her heavenly family, Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Chapel with interment to follow at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Brownwood. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet.
Rossy was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Grady Hood.
Survivors include son, John Hood and wife Teresa; daughters, Donna and husband Barry Spencer, and Verena Martin; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, D.C. Green; sister, Hazel Mae Lutes; and numerous other relatives and friends.
