J.C. was my best all time friend. we grew up together,shared our secrets and was in business together. we were like close brothers. we had lots of good laughs and loads of fun all through the years. J.C. was a hard working man and a man who deeply loved his two daughters and his wife. the former johnnie marie beck. she passed away almost seven years before he did.
J.C. was born to Homer and Stella (Goins) Egger. His Sisters were Joyce Fay. and June. Brothers were Raymond Lee, David Rudolph and Billy Joe. His Daughters are Beverly and Deddie. also he left several Grand childran that he was so proud of. growing up he worked on a farm and ranch in the brownwood texas area. and the old texas brick plant. the we had some service stations and a restaurant. later he worked and finely retried from Santa Fe Railroad. he had been retired a few years before his death from a massive stroke. there is not enough words to tell what all this man meant to everyone he knew. always haveing a joke to tell and a kind word to strangers and everyone he knew. he was very proud of all his family. my life as well as everyone else who knew him had a better life because of him. he always had that spark of happeness that made your day a lot better.always laughing. after he was married to his wife for a very few short years, she begin to have major health problems. they went to every doctor and place for help to get her well. nothing seamed to help. he cared for her for more then fifty years until she passed away. and after her passing, he was never the same, part of him passed away and was buried with his wife. I wish I could explain just what this man was to everyone but there is so much that it can't all be put here on findagrave. he was my first cousin-and my second cousin and best of all was my very best friend. I guess a part of me passed away when he did because I will never forget the times we shared together. working together, fishing or just setting around talking. Bless you J. and thank you for all the good times and all the times you would listen to me when I needed someone.
thanks for all the jokes we pulled on each other and most of all, the love you showed for me and my family. I wish that your final day could have been spent in the town that you lived in all your life and loved so much, brownwood texas. you left behind lots of memories and two wonderful daughters and those grandchildran that you loved so much. you also left all of us with the best memories that we could ever have. what a great Husband and Father you were. and no one can ever match the friendship you gave to everyboby.
