Funeral services for Aurelia A. Davis, age 95, of Brownwood will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at Worship Center Church at 506 Edwards St. in Brownwood, with Bob Gumbert officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery near May, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Davis-Morris Funeral Home. The Lord took Aurelia Arnold Davis home to be with Him at 9:10 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 23, 2012. She passed away in her home with family and friends around her. Aurelia was born on July 21, 1916, in May, Texas, to John and Zula Stubblefield. She is survived by one brother, Manford Stubblefield of California; one daughter, Nancy Wyche of Brownwood; one son, Donald Davis and wife Marie of Brownwood; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandsons. Aurelia was preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws; husband, J.R. Davis; one sister; two brothers; and one son, Charles Edward Davis.
