Funeral services for Nora Charlene (Tina) Boyd, 80, of Early, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. today, at the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with Sam Allen officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. She passed away Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010, at Brownwood Regional Medical Center, Brownwood, Texas. Nora Charlene (Tina) Boyd was born on May 7, 1929, in Priddy, Texas, to Charlie and Lucille Nichols Karnes. She was married to Jimmie Ray Boyd on Feb. 4, 1950. A long time resident of Brown County, she loved everyone and never met a stranger. She loved to dance, crochet and fish. Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Jopson and husband Paul of Early and Judy Cox and husband James of Bangs; four grandchildren, Allison Paulson and husband Chad of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Daniel Earhart of Early, Stephanie Rush and husband Preston of Bangs, and Kristen Field of Bangs; and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and several brothers and sisters. Pallbearers will be: Daniel Earhart, Chad Paulson, J.C. Gilbert, Corky Bryant, Wesley Bryant, and Christopher Bryant. Honorary Pallbearers Josh Gilbert, Mike McCoy, Jerry Wayne (Shorty) Lobstein, Blake Haney, Chris Ripley and Paul Pannell.
