Stanley McBride, 88, died Friday, October 15, 1999, in his home.
Serivices will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Heartland Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Bill Swindler officiating. Burial will be in May Cemetery.
Mr. McBride was born in May in 1911. He had been a resident of Early for 23 years, having previously lived in Odessa and May. He married Camilla Smith in 1936 in Comanche. She preceded him in death in 1997. He was a retired machinist in the oil field industry.
Survivors include two sons, Johnny McBride and Stanley K. McBride, Jr., both of Odessa; three daughters, Nelda Holman of Mesa, Ariz., Mae Claire McCoard of Arlington and Barbara McBride of Grand Prairie; five brothers, Ernest McBride, Dale McBride, Jack McBride and Joe McBride, all of Brownwood, and James Alton McBride of Abilene; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
