Funeral services for Noble Richard Austin, age 75, of Bangs, will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at New Testament Holiness Church with Pastor Ronnie White officiating. Burial will follow in the Bangs Cemetery under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00.
Noble Richard Austin was born on March 7, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri to Noble and Priscilla (Dye) Austin. He married Hazel Reeves on November 19, 1960 in St. Louis. Richard worked as a carpenter and was a member of New Testament Holiness Church in Bangs.
Richard is survived by his wife of 57 years, Hazel Austin of Bangs, a son Richard Austin, Jr. and two daughters, Karen and Louise; six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Richard passed from this life on Friday, December 29, 2017 in Abilene surrounded by his family.
